Rom 8:31

Rom 8:31
If God  is for us, who can be against us?
NKJV

I’m the kind of guy who now looks to see how God is working in my life and who HE is using to speak to me.  I used to be the kind that always looked at my circumstances and if they were bad enough, I would cry out to God and usually blame HIM for what HE got me into.  I would like to compare myself with Job.  However, Job was “upright and blameless” before God.  That leaves me out {aside from Christ in me, the Hope of Glory, there is no good in me}.  Don’t get me wrong, I don’t go around trying to sin all day long.  No, I guess I have to compare myself to Jonah.  God spoke to Jonah directly and Jonah fled from the Lord.  Sometimes I try to hide from God.  Oh, I know HE is Omni-present, but sometimes I try to flee from God.   How ridiculous.  Trying to hide from the God of the Universe.  HE created it all and here I am trying to hide from HIM.
God showed me a verse today.  Ps 18:30
“As for God, His way is perfect! The word of the Lord is tested and tried; He is a shield to all those who take refuge and put their trust in Him.”
AMP
You see, I am not any different than anyone else.  I am a sinner saved by grace.  HIS Grace.  Nothing in me is any good except that HE is working in me.  I choose to take refuge behind HIS Shield and put my trust in HIM.
To all who read this.  God Bless You All.
